3. How We Share Your Information

VanDien.io LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances.

3.1 Service Providers

To operate the Site and deliver your contact-form message to our inbox, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers that process your information on our behalf:

  • Resend (Resend, Inc.), our transactional email provider, which transmits your contact-form submission and the confirmation email. See Resend’s Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation), which hosts our email mailbox and may serve as a fallback for sending messages. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC), our website analytics provider, as described in Section 8.
  • Our website hosting provider, which stores the Site and the records described in Section 4.

These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us, and are expected to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security.

3.2 Legal Compliance and Protection

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation or government request; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of VanDien.io LLC; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Site; or (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.

3.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law:

  • Contact-form submissions, including the message and the technical details in Section 1.2, are retained as part of our inquiry and customer-communication records for up to three (3) years from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
  • Aggregate website analytics are retained according to our analytics provider’s default retention settings and are not tied to you as an individual.

You may ask us to delete your submission sooner, as described in Section 6.

5. Data Security

VanDien.io LLC implements reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and storage that is not publicly accessible.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Regardless of location, VanDien.io LLC honors the following requests:

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to our legal obligations and legitimate business needs.
  • Opt out of analytics: You may prevent website analytics from measuring your visit using the methods in Section 8.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond to verified requests within thirty (30) days, and we may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take prompt steps to delete it. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

8. Website Analytics and Cookies

The vandien.io website uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, web analytics services provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how visitors find and use the Site. Our Google Analytics measurement ID is G-6CH2F9LCB7. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking (conversion ID AW-18147278244).

When you visit a page that loads the Google tag, Google may set first-party cookies in your browser (typically named “_ga” and “_ga_<container-id>”) and process the following information:

  • A truncated form of your IP address (Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses);
  • The pages you visit on the Site and the time spent on each;
  • The referring URL, if any, and basic campaign parameters (such as utm_source);
  • Browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and language;
  • Approximate geographic location (country and region) derived from your IP address.

We use this information only in aggregate, to measure traffic and understand which pages and products visitors are interested in. We do not use Google Analytics to build advertising audiences, to retarget visitors, or to identify you as an individual. Google acts as our data processor under Google’s own terms; for more detail see Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics safeguards page.

You can prevent your visit from being measured at any time by:

  • Installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on;
  • Blocking third-party scripts or cookies in your browser, or using a content-blocking extension or DNS filter that blocks googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com.

Disabling website analytics has no effect on your ability to browse the Site or use the contact form.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

VanDien.io LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Site after such an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
