FraudScope analyzes suspicious messages entirely on your iPhone. This policy explains what the app does, and does not do, with your information. The short version: nothing leaves your device.
FraudScope ("the app") is a personal safety tool published by VanDien.io LLC ("we," "us," "our"). FraudScope analyzes suspicious texts, emails, screenshots, and links to help you identify scam attempts and attacker intent. All analysis runs on your iPhone. This policy explains what the app does, and does not do, with your information.
None. FraudScope has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no crash-reporting service. VanDien.io LLC does not collect, receive, transmit, or store any data from your use of the app.
FraudScope only processes content you explicitly submit: text you paste, screenshots you share, links you enter, or files you forward as PDFs. This processing happens entirely on your iPhone. When you use the iOS Share Sheet to send content to FraudScope, the app receives only the content of that share. It does not read your broader messages, contacts, call history, or any other app's data.
All data the app generates is stored locally on your device only:
None of the above is ever sent to VanDien.io LLC or any other party.
FraudScope does not require an internet connection to analyze messages, score risk, or reconstruct attacker intent. The analysis engine is bundled with the app.
The only network activity is the optional, user-initiated "Inspect URL" feature:
Settings include an optional "On-Device AI Enhancement" toggle. When enabled, FraudScope uses Apple Intelligence (where available on your device and with the model downloaded) to enrich analysis summaries. This processing happens on your device using Apple's private compute infrastructure. VanDien.io LLC does not receive any data from this process. See Apple's privacy documentation for information about Apple Intelligence.
Because all data stays on your device, you are in full control. You can clear analysis history from within the app's History screen. You can remove all stored data by deleting the app. Your Apple device's local encrypted storage is managed by iOS.
FraudScope uses bundled Apple frameworks and open-source libraries that run on your device. These components do not transmit your data off the device. The URL inspection feature contacts the inspected URL or domain directly. No intermediary server is involved.
FraudScope is a personal safety tool not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Any change that introduces new data handling will be communicated through an in-app notice or App Store release notes before it takes effect.

The sections above describe the FraudScope iPhone app. This note covers only the vandien.io website you are reading now, which is separate from the app. The website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-6CH2F9LCB7) and Google Ads conversion tracking (conversion ID AW-18147278244) to measure aggregate traffic. The FraudScope app itself contains no analytics or web-tracking code of any kind. You can opt out of website analytics with the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking analytics scripts in your browser. Doing so has no effect on the app.
