VanDien.io LLC
This Agreement is entered into between VanDien.io LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New Jersey ("Licensor," "we," "us," or "our"), and you, the individual end user ("Licensee" or "you"). This Agreement governs your use of the FraudScope iPhone application, including any associated content, documentation, updates, or supplemental features (collectively, the "App"). By downloading FraudScope from the Apple App Store, or by using the App, you accept and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, VanDien.io LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use FraudScope on any iPhone owned or controlled by you and associated with your Apple ID. If your Apple ID participates in Apple Family Sharing, this license extends to family members who access the App through that program, subject to Apple's Family Sharing terms.

The App is licensed, not sold. VanDien.io LLC retains all right, title, and interest in and to FraudScope, including all intellectual property rights. This Agreement does not convey to you any ownership interest in the App. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by VanDien.io LLC.
You agree not to use the App to analyze content that you are not authorized to possess or share, and not to use risk assessments produced by the App as your sole basis for legal, financial, or safety decisions.
FraudScope is available in a free tier and a Pro tier. The Pro tier unlocks additional features and is offered as an auto-renewing subscription or as a one-time in-app purchase, as described in the App Store listing.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. By subscribing, you authorize Apple to charge your Apple ID account on a recurring basis at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Pricing is shown at the time of purchase and may be changed with advance notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through iOS Settings: tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, then FraudScope. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until the period ends.
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's standard refund policies. VanDien.io LLC does not control and cannot process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
The free tier of FraudScope is provided as-is with no payment required. VanDien.io LLC may adjust the features included in the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.
FraudScope performs all core analysis on your device with no internet connection required. The App includes one optional, user-initiated network feature: "Inspect URL."
When you tap "Inspect URL" on a link identified in a submitted message, the App contacts that link's destination directly to retrieve redirect information, domain registration data, and TLS certificate details. The App presents a clear disclosure before making this request, and you may decline. By tapping "Inspect URL" and confirming the disclosure, you instruct the App to initiate that network connection on your behalf.
The Inspect URL feature contacts destinations that VanDien.io LLC does not own or control. VanDien.io LLC is not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of any external website or domain inspected through this feature. Use of the feature is at your own discretion.
When you use Inspect URL, the App does not send your message content, risk score, or any other personal information to VanDien.io LLC. The only outbound data is the network request to the inspected URL or domain.
FraudScope is designed so that nothing you analyze leaves your iPhone. The App collects no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising identifiers, and requires no account. All analysis history is stored in encrypted local storage on your device and is never included in iCloud Backup unless you explicitly enable that option.
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. Please read it carefully.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VAN DIEN IO LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. VAN DIEN IO LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL DETECT ALL SCAMS OR FRAUDULENT MESSAGES, THAT IT WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, OR THAT IT WILL BE ERROR-FREE. FRAUDSCOPE IS AN AID TO YOUR JUDGMENT, NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR IT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VAN DIEN IO LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, OR FOR ANY HARM ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON THE APP'S ANALYSIS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL VAN DIEN IO LLC'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE APP EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR FRAUDSCOPE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations may not apply to you to the extent required by law.
This Agreement is effective from the date you first download or use the App and shall remain in effect until terminated. VanDien.io LLC may terminate this Agreement immediately and without notice if you materially breach any provision hereof.
Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the App and delete all copies in your possession or control. Sections 3, 7, 8, 10, and 11 shall survive termination of this Agreement.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the breach, termination, or validity thereof shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
This Agreement, together with the FraudScope Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and VanDien.io LLC with respect to FraudScope and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, negotiations, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
This Agreement is between you and VanDien.io LLC only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession or use of the App.
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
No failure or delay by VanDien.io LLC in exercising any right, power, or privilege under this Agreement shall operate as a waiver thereof.
VanDien.io LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Agreement on our website or through App Store release notes. Your continued use of the App after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
