The risk score from 0 to 100 maps to four bands:
This is FraudScope's signature feature. It maps what the attacker is trying to do: what they're claiming to be, what their actual goal is, the manipulation tactics they're using (such as urgency or authority impersonation), and the step-by-step sequence of the scam.
It also quotes the exact words from the message that triggered each finding. This helps you understand the trick, not just a score.
Yes, with Live Call Shield (Pro feature). Open FraudScope during a suspicious call, then activate Live Call Shield. It listens for manipulation patterns in real time and flags them on screen.
It does not record the call or upload audio. When you end the session, no audio is retained.
When a message contains a link, FraudScope shows it in the results screen with an Inspect URL button. Tapping it contacts the link's destination to check:
The app shows you a clear disclosure before making any network request. This is the only time FraudScope contacts the internet.
Trusted Person Mode lets you share a risk report with a family member or caregiver with one tap. The shared report contains only the risk score, the intent summary, and guidance on what to do. It never includes the original message content.
You set up your trusted person's name in the Family tab. FraudScope never contacts them automatically.
Medium Risk means FraudScope found some warning signs but not definitive proof of a scam. Read the Attacker Plan section: it explains exactly what triggered the score.
If you're uncertain, the safest path is to contact the organization directly using a phone number or website you find independently (not the one in the message). Don't click any links or call any numbers from the message itself.

No. Analysis runs entirely on your iPhone with no network connection. The only time FraudScope contacts the internet is when you tap Inspect URL to check a link's destination, and it tells you before it does.
